Is every website change another trip to wp-admin?

Changing a text, moving a section, adding a product to the menu or updating the footer are minutes that add up. Spiral-MCP-Control gives your AI agent the tools to do it for you, with permissions you define and a safety net under every change.

How it works

Install the plugin

Upload the ZIP under Plugins. WordPress will ask for MCP Adapter, the official bridge that exposes the tools over MCP.

Create the agent user

A user with the Spiral-MCP agent role and an application password. It never gets administrator permissions.

Connect your agent

Add the site to Claude or another MCP client and install the skill. It teaches the agent to work step by step with your theme and your plugins.

Ask for what you need

“Create a services landing page”, “put in the new logo”, “raise the price of this product”. The agent reads, changes, reviews and reports back.

Everything can be undone

A snapshot is saved before every change (or a revision, for pages and posts). Restore all of it or just one part.

Activity log

Every agent action is audited, and from wp-admin you see what changed and revert it with one click.

Permissions your way

Turn each tool on or off, or keep the agent read-only. Orders, cache settings and plugins come locked.

Confirmation for sensitive actions

Deleting or restoring requires explicit confirmation. Plugins have a double lock and roll back automatically if they break the site.

What the agent can do

Content and SEO

Pages, posts and custom post types, categories and tags, revisions and trash. Titles and descriptions with or without Yoast SEO.

YOOtheme builder

Reads the outline of any layout and changes only what’s needed with atomic operations. Duplicates, validates and checks the element catalog.

Theme, menus and widgets

Header, logo, navbar, footer, mega menus, templates and the YOOtheme library. Creates and edits menus and widgets.

Languages New

With Polylang: adds languages, translates pages with their YOOtheme design, posts and categories, standalone strings such as the site name, and sets up a menu per language with its switcher.

Media and styles

Uploads images from a URL or your computer, edits their alt text and shows where they’re used. Additional CSS, colors, typography and LESS variables.

Design library

Searches the YOOtheme online library and imports pages, templates, footers or elements with their images, ready to adapt.

Review before publishing

Works in drafts, creates a preview link that needs no login and inspects the page: headings, broken links, images without alt and effective SEO.

Site settings

Name, tagline, home page and time zone. With Yoast SEO, its general settings: title templates, Schema, social profiles, breadcrumbs and sitemaps.

WooCommerce

Simple and variable products, coupons, shipping, taxes and store settings. Orders and customers only with a separate permission.

Forms

Creates and edits Contact Form 7 forms and shows which pages they’re on. Changing who receives the email requires confirmation.

Caches

Purges only what changed. Works with WP Super Cache, WP Fastest Cache, LiteSpeed, W3 Total Cache, WP Rocket, Nginx Helper and more.

Plugins with a double lock

Searches and installs from wordpress.org, activates with a health check and updates with automatic rollback. Locked until you open it.

Requirements

Frequently asked questions

  • Does the agent have administrator access?

    No. It works with its own role, which never receives WordPress administration capabilities (options, users, themes, plugins or core updates). It can only do what the tools you have enabled allow.

  • What if it makes a change I don’t like?

    You undo it. Pages and posts keep revisions, and everything else (theme, menus, widgets, media, styles, settings, languages) saves a snapshot before changing. You can ask the agent itself or restore it yourself from the Activity tab in wp-admin.

  • Can I limit what it can do?

    Yes. Under Settings > Spiral-MCP you turn each tool or a whole category on or off, with shortcuts to make it read-only or switch off destructive actions. A disabled tool doesn’t even show up for the agent.

  • Does it work for a multilingual site?

    Yes, with Polylang. The agent adds languages, copies a page into the other language with its YOOtheme design and translates its texts, translates posts and categories, the site name and widgets, and sets up a menu per language with the switcher. Changes that affect the site’s URLs ask for confirmation.

  • What is the skill and what is it for?

    It’s a package of instructions for Claude that comes with the plugin: it explains how to use the tools carefully, gives recipes for common tasks and tells it what to do about frequent errors. It’s updated with every plugin release; when you update the plugin, download the skill too and replace it in Claude.

  • How is it updated?

    Like any other plugin: new versions show up under Dashboard > Updates, with their changelog under “View details”. No license key needed.

  • How do I know the download is safe?

    The official ZIP is downloaded from plugins.rasenfx.com, our own server. The plugin is open source: all its code, the change history and every release are published on GitHub, so you can review it before installing it on your site.

  • Does it work without YOOtheme Pro?

    Partly. Content, menus, media, SEO, forms, store and caches work with any theme. The builder, templates and styles need YOOtheme Pro or a child theme.

  • Does it only work with Claude?

    No. The tools are exposed over MCP, so any compatible client works. The skill is designed for Claude.

  • How much does it cost?

    Nothing. It’s free software under the GPL license: use it on all your sites, review the code and suggest improvements on GitHub.
